Included only in the Business × Deep cell
Depth is analyst time, not a longer checklist. At Deep someone investigates rather than reviews, and on a Business scan that also includes the work below, which no other cell gets. It is still passive: it reasons over evidence the scan already collected and never touches anyone's infrastructure.
- Threat model synthesis
- A defensible threat model built over what the scan found: likely assets of interest, plausible threat actors, and their motivation.
- Deep and dark-web exposure sweep
- An extended passive sweep of deep and dark-web sources for leaked company data, credentials, and mentions.
What Deep actually means
Depth is analyst time, not a longer checklist. At Basic and Standard the work is largely automated and a person checks it. At Deep someone investigates: chasing what the sources imply rather than what they state, reconciling contradictions, following a lead that only shows up once everything is on the table, and writing up what it means for the decision you are about to make.
At Business, Deep also includes
Threat model synthesis
A defensible threat model built over what the scan found: likely assets of interest, plausible threat actors, and their motivation.
Deep and dark-web exposure sweep
An extended passive sweep of deep and dark-web sources for leaked company data, credentials, and mentions.
Those are passive. They reason over evidence the scan already collected and never touch the subject.
All scan products are passive: we read public and leaked sources and never send traffic to the person or company you are searching for.
Looking at your own company, and want the other kind of test (the one that actively probes your external infrastructure rather than reading public sources)? AI Penetration Testing is a separate engagement, priced per job, and only ever runs against assets you own or are authorised to test.
Beyond the tiers, one engagement at a time
Some work does not fit a depth level.
Deep is two analyst days against a fixed set of checks, on one person or one company. If what you need is wider than that, or the answer is somewhere our standard sources do not reach, the tier is the wrong instrument. An acquisition you are about to sign, a counterparty you cannot get comfortable with, a dispute, a group structure you need mapped: we scope the work around the question and price it against what answering it takes.
Several people, several companies, or the relationships that tie them together
A corporate group: its subsidiaries, its officers, and who ultimately owns it
Jurisdictions and registries outside our standard coverage
Sources we do not run as part of any tier, sought specifically for your question
A specific question to answer, rather than a fixed set of checks to complete
As long as it takes to answer it properly, rather than a fixed number of days
Engagements of this kind have typically run between $6,750 and $13,500, depending on how many people and companies are involved and how far the question reaches. That is a range on work already delivered, not a price list: the scope sets the figure, and you see it in writing before anything starts.
Ongoing or high volume
If you need this regularly, the pricing above is the wrong shape.
The prices above buy one scan, scoped the way we scope it. Organisations running checks continuously usually want neither: a rate that reflects the volume, and a scan shaped around what they actually need to know rather than our three depth levels.
Compliance and onboarding
Checks you have to run, on a schedule someone else sets. KYC, AML, supplier onboarding, or a regulator who wants the file to exist.
Acquisitions and investment
Diligence across a target and everyone attached to it: founders, directors, beneficial owners, and the entities behind them.
Your own people
Pre-hire screening, or periodic re-checks on staff in positions of trust. Recurring, predictable volume, and the same scope every time.
A rate set against your expected volume, not the per-scan list price
Scans scoped to what you need to know, instead of our three depth levels
Only the checks that matter to you, and new ones added where they do not exist yet
Reporting shaped to your process, whether that is a file per subject or a feed
Invoiced rather than paid by card, and a named contact instead of a support queue
